By booking a session, workshop, mentoring spot, or any other service with Dress Code Studio ("we," "us," "the Studio"), you ("the client," "you") agree to the terms below.
1. Services Provided
Dress Code Studio provides personal image consulting services, including but not limited to: color analysis, body shape assessment, personal styling, wardrobe editing, personal shopping guidance, monthly styling support, and 1:1 mentoring/affiliate training. Services may be delivered in person or virtually.
2. Payment & Booking
Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing. All sales are final. No services, packages, or mentoring spots are refundable once purchased, regardless of whether the session has taken place.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Appointments that are canceled are not eligible for a refund. If you need to reschedule:
- Requests made at least [48 hours] before your scheduled appointment may be moved to a new date, subject to availability.
- Requests made after that window, or missed appointments ("no-shows"), are treated as completed sessions and are not refunded or rescheduled.
- The Studio reserves the right to reschedule an appointment due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, in which case a new time will be offered at no additional cost.
4. Liability Waiver
Certain services involve close physical proximity and direct testing of products against your skin, hair, and body. By booking, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
4.1 Product & Material Testing
Color analysis sessions may involve testing fabric swatches, hair swatches, makeup products, and jewelry/metals directly against your skin, hair, and face. You are responsible for disclosing any known allergies, skin sensitivities, or conditions before your session. The Studio is not liable for allergic reactions, skin irritation, or discomfort arising from products used during a session where such conditions were not disclosed in advance.
4.2 Personal Belongings
Wardrobe edit and closet consultation services may require the Studio to handle, sort, and temporarily relocate your clothing and personal items. The Studio will exercise reasonable care, but is not liable for pre-existing damage, wear, or loss of items resulting from normal handling during the course of a wardrobe edit. Any items intended for donation or removal will only be removed with your explicit confirmation.
4.3 Assumption of Risk
You voluntarily participate in all sessions and assume any risk of injury, allergic reaction, or property damage that may result, except where caused by the Studio's gross negligence or willful misconduct.
4.4 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dress Code Studio's total liability for any claim arising from services provided is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. The Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.
5. Results & Recommendations
Color analysis, body shape guidance, and styling recommendations are professional opinions based on established methodology, not guarantees. Individual results, preferences, and satisfaction may vary. Final purchasing and styling decisions made after a session are the client's own responsibility.
6. Photography & Testimonials
With your separate, explicit consent (requested at the time of your session), the Studio may photograph before/after results or request a written testimonial for use in marketing materials, the website, and social media. You may decline this at any time without affecting your service.
7. Mentoring & Affiliate Program Terms
- Mentoring fees are non-refundable once a spot is confirmed, consistent with the general payment policy above.
- Completion of mentoring does not guarantee acceptance into, or income from, the Dress Code Studio affiliate program. Affiliate status is granted at the Studio's discretion based on completed training and fit.
- Affiliates operate under a separate written agreement governing use of the Dress Code Studio name, referral terms, and compensation, provided upon acceptance into the program.
- The Studio's color analysis and styling methodology, training materials, and branding remain the intellectual property of Dress Code Studio and may not be reproduced, taught, or distributed independently without written permission.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [Your State], without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of [Your County/State].
9. Changes to These Terms
Dress Code Studio may update these terms from time to time. Continued booking of services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
